What’s Lurking in the Dark Web? 2021 Dark Web Training

November 17, 2021 @ 8:30 am - 4:30 pm EST

GWDC Members $325, Non-GWDC Members $375

Ever wonder what the deep and dark web is? Did you know that over 90% of the internet's content is hidden?  Did you also know some of what’s hidden could be your private and personal information? The majority of the hacked data ends up on the dark web for sale. Activists, hacktivists, nation-states, researchers, and others utilize the dark on a regular basis. It is important for each of us to understand what the dark web is and how to protect ourselves and our organizations against its threats.

The 2021 Dark Web Training will be a full-day virtual classroom course designed to provide cybersecurity practitioners a guided tour of the Dark Web and the tools used to navigate it. The course will initiate participants on the skills and knowledge to conduct their own threat investigations and gain a better appreciation for the risks they and their organizations are exposed to.
