One In Tech - Three Programs, One Vision
The ISACA GWDC Chapter is please to present the One In Tech, an ISACA Foundation's Young Leaders in Tech program. One In Tech Foundation has a singular focus that is aligned with our vision. We seek to build a healthy digital world that is safe, secure, and accessible for all. We believe that technology knows no gender, no color, no age, and makes no assumptions, holds no biases, and has no bound. To combat barriers commonly based on these, we built a suite of programs focused on children, women, and people of color, and those under-served socioeconomically and due to bias. Our objectives are to build equity and diversity in the digital space.
The ISACA GWDC Chapter is the first chapter partner of One In Tech, an ISACA Foundation. We believe in the power of knowledge, and the power of collaboration to provide knowledge. Through this collaboration the ISACA GWDC chapter is serving its local community by creating a pathway for students into cybersecurity at a young age. We welcome other chapters to join this partnership model with One In Tech to supply resources that they can infuse into their own specific regions to address the needs of under-represented, under-resourced, and disenfranchised students.
One In Tech provides THREE KEY PROGRAMS to address global needs and provide programs with measurable impact.
WeLeadTech empowers groups who, due to racial or cultural bias or exclusion, are underrepresented in the tech industry with opportunities to build leadership skills, find and be mentors, gain career guidance, and achieve certifications leading to stronger equity in technology fields.
SheLeadsTech empowers women, a highly underrepresented percentage in the tech workforce, to not only enter into tech careers, but to stay in the field, serving in leadership roles and achieving their highest potential.
One In Tech will seek to provide under-resourced children with the knowledge and skills to help them avoid online risks, maximize online opportunities, and exercise their full rights in the digital world.
