David Samuelson

David is a seasoned executive with particular strength in strategic and technology leadership, communications and execution. He has a deep foundational expertise in operational execution, product management and leadership, and deep industry experience in global education technology, software development, consumer publishing, television, and theater. Samuelson has had proven success in both creative ideation and tactical execution of ideas, with an excellent track record of working effectively across global, complex and matrixed organizations. His 25 years in education began at the Minnesota Educational Computing Corporation as vice president and executive producer. He worked at Pearson, the leading global education company, for 15 years in a variety of executive roles, including president of global schools, chief marketing officer and product strategist for Pearson’s US School division, and VP of the Family Education Network. Samuelson’s earlier career in theatre and television included an Emmy award-winning children’s television producer.

Brad Schulteis is currently Senior Director of Global Government Solutions at Rackspace Technology, leading a worldwide team of security and compliance subject matter experts focused on delivering market-leading security solutions, simplifying compliance with government standards, and lowering the barriers to entry into the government vertical. He owns the Rackspace Technology portfolio of government security and compliance products, including their FedRAMP cloud products: Rackspace Government Cloud on VMware, Rackspace Government Cloud on AWS and Rackspace Inheritable Security Controls advisory services. He has 20 years of enterprise IT experience across the public and private sectors. He previously worked at AWS Worldwide Public Sector, supporting some of its largest US government customers and as a civilian employee within the US Intelligence Community, managing all aspects of a DoD cloud computing platform.

Susie Adams

Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft Federal

Susie Adams has more than 30 years of IT experience. She joined Microsoft in 1999 and has held several leadership positions in Microsoft including the director of the Microsoft Reston Virginia Technology Center and most recently the CTO of the Federal Civilian Business.

Prior to joining Microsoft, she spent 16 years in the consulting arena working with customers in both the commercial and government sectors. Adams has held a variety of management and leadership roles including practice manager, systems analyst and software developer.

Jeanette Manfra

Director of Risk and Compliance at Google Cloud

Jeanette Manfra is the Director for Risk and Compliance for Google Cloud. Jeanette is focused on helping customers, particularly those in regulated industries, build and maintain the highest levels of security and trust into their technical infrastructure and services.

Prior to joining Google, Jeanette was the Assistant Secretary for Cybersecurity and the Cyber and Infrastructure Agency within the US Federal Government.  In that role she was responsible for driving security modernization across Federal civilian agencies as well as enabling the security of critical infrastructure across the US.  Jeanette spent more than a decade serving in various roles at the Department of Homeland Security and the White House focused on establishing the nation’s first civilian cyber defense agency.  

Jeanette is a proud veteran of the US Army and alumna of the University of Wisconsin and Johns Hopkins University.

Jason Gould, CISA, CISSP, PMP

Managing Director at KPMG

Jason is currently a Managing Director in KPMG’s Federal practice. He has been with the firm for over thirteen years and graduated from JMU in 2006 with an MS in Computer Science. Currently, he supports financial, IT Cyber, FISMA, SSAE16, and various other IT performance audits or evaluations for several Federal Agencies.  He has planned and completed numerous audits and evaluations in accordance with the Government Auditing Standards. As an IT Managing Director on these engagements, he has helped to develop the audit approach that was used to test key applications and networks supporting the applications and also responsible for all aspects of the IT audit sections, including planning, execution, and report writing. He currently holds three professional certifications; Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Project Management Professional (PMP).

Phil Moore is a Partner and the IT Assurance Practice leader at Kearney & Company. Mr. Moore has over 19 years of professional Information Technology (IT) assurance, financial, and consulting experience, including work in both civilian and defense federal agencies. He currently serves as the Kearney Health and Human Services (HHS) IT Consulting lead, as well as the lead partner on a number of FISMA- and FISCAM-based audits. Mr. Moore is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Project Management Professional (PMP). Mr. Moore attended Virginia Tech where he received both his Bachelor and Master's in Accounting and Information Systems.

Danny Wuckovich is a Director in PwC’s Cloud Security team within the Cybersecurity & Privacy practice. He has over 12 years of experience in various security roles both in technical roles and as a programmatic team lead. He has worked in a variety of sectors while primarily supporting clients in the Financial Services, Health Industries, and Technology sectors since 2014. Danny holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech. He is a certified Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Formerly, Anil served as the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Deputy Chief Technology Officer.  Karmel has been in the IT Industry for over twenty years, working with Fortune 500 companies and governments in the areas of cloud, cyber security and data-driven IT Strategic Planning. He and his team garnered industry and government accolades, including the SANS National Cyber Security Innovators Award for Cloud Security, InformationWeek 500 Top Government IT Innovators, ACT/IAC Excellence.gov Award and the DOE Secretary's Achievement Award.  Anil currently serves as the President of the Cloud Security Alliance's Washington DC Metro Area Chapter (CSA-DC) and co-chair of the CSA's Application Container and Microservices Working Group. Karmel is a nationally recognized speaker and has been featured at numerous IT conferences and webinars.
