The Greater Washington, D.C. Chapter (GWDC) periodically sends e-mails regarding chapter event announcements, news, training offers, and other items of interest to our members.  Non-members are also welcome to join.

Who Can Join

Chapter Members

All GWDC members that have provided a current e-mail address to ISACA® International are subscribed to the list and should have received a confirmation e-mail.  About every two weeks, we will update our two mailing lists for any changes to GWDC member e-mail addresses, including those of new members.

All new members receive a welcome email that provides basic information about the chapter and a link to a brief survey to help us understand your interests and preferences regarding chapter events.

If you need to update your contact information, including your e-mail address, please visit log onto My ISACA to update your member profile.

Non-Members

Anyone that is not a member of the Chapter is welcome to join the mailing list. Those who have attended one of our events are automatically added to the list.

Mailing List Details

Two Mailing Lists

The GWDC uses two different mailing lists to communicate with our members:

• Event-related emails and Surveys: Our primary mailing list is through Cvent and is used to send event-based emails, such as event announcements, registration confirmations, and post-event feedback surveys and CPEs. Occasionally we also send surveys to our members through this list.
• Newsletters: Chapter newsletters and non-event related emails are sent out through ActiveCampaign.

Privacy

Our members’ privacy is very important to us, so be assured that your e-mail address will be used only to distribute GWDC related information and will not be sold or otherwise distributed to other parties.
