Fellow Members,

The Chapter Board is now accepting nominations for the 2023 V. Lee Conyers Award. We encourage Chapter members to nominate fellow members and colleagues who have made significant contributions to the GWDC, ISACA, and the IT audit, security, control, and governance professions in the Greater Washington, D.C. area.

All nominations must be submitted by April 30, 2023 and a selection committee comprised of the current and former GWDC presidents will choose this year’s recipient. The award will be presented at the 2023 GWDC Annual General Meeting.

Nomination Criteria

The criteria used to evaluate the nominations include the following:

• Criterion #1: Member in Good Standing. The Selection Committee will determine membership status.
• Criterion #2: Contributions to the GWDC and/or ISACA®. Examples of contributions are writing articles, participating on committees or research projects, speaking at events, etc.
• Criterion #3: Contributions to the IT audit, cybersecurity, privacy, and governance profession.

Nomination Process

A nomination form must be completed for each nominee. The nomination form requires information regarding the nominee and the person submitting the nomination. Please provide a brief narrative of the nominee’s contributions to adequately address each of the criteria categories.
