Dear Fellow Members,
Happy New Year! Not only another year behind us, but another decade. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are ready for an exciting year ahead.
The beginning of the new year is the perfect opportunity to set goals and plans for what we want to accomplish in our professional and personal lives. It sounds like a cliché, but there is never a wrong time to ask ourselves difficult questions on where we want to be in our career and what do we need to do to get there. Whether it be professional education, networking, or getting a new certification – be sure to keep an eye on what GWDC is offering to see how it can support your career growth.
This year is also notable for the chapter because it is an election year. The chapter officers serve two-year terms. The present terms run from July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2020. Stay turned for more information related to the election and nominating process in the next couple months.
I look forward to seeing you all at a future conference this year.
As always, we encourage everyone to follow GWDC on social media. We increasingly share updates and news on platforms like Twitter or LinkedIn on a regular basis. It is great way to hear about chapter news in a more real time frequency.
