On April 8th and 9th, Our Board of Directors attended meetings on Capitol Hill to support ISACA initiatives. We met with the support staff and/or representatives on the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee , Homeland Security and Government Affairs, and Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Protection to promote ISACA programs such as SheLeadsTech, Cybersecurity Nexus (CSX) and raise awareness about the organization, future events and what ISACA brings overall to the field of technology.
The meetings conveyed ISACA’s promise to help business technology professionals and their enterprises around the world realize the positive potential of technology.
Joint efforts like this one from ISACA HQ and GWDC occur at least annually to promote ISACA within the government and raise the overall profile of the organization.
