TOPICS of the Women in Leadership 2021 Conference

Topic 1 - Intention & Authenticity - Elevating Your Personal Brand By: Jina Etienne

As women, we know all too well how gender norms can count against us as we strive to move up the corporate ladder or run a business. Your personal brand is central to your identity as a leader, executive or business owner. It should be genuine and deeply rooted in what makes you unique. This session will take a closer look at authenticity – the challenges, myths and perceptions that hold us back from revealing more of ourselves as women in business.  We will also explore how intention and purpose come together to differentiate you as a leader with clients, colleagues and the broader business community.

Topic 2 - Threat Modeling AI and ML for Resilience By: Diana Kelley

A lot of attention has been focused on the many ways AI and ML can help us get the most out of technology. From self-driving cars to early detection of cancer - the promise is great. However, if we don't understand the threat model and build security and resilience into AI and ML the promise can not be realized. Join this session to learn about intentional and unintentional failure modes in AI/ML and guidance on how to build resilient, failure-resistant solutions.

Topic 3 - A Roadmap for Starting or Maturing Your Insider Risk Program

This presentation walks through the evolution of Rockwell Automation’s Insider Risk program, from its inception as a manual program run by a single person to its current state, with a team of investigators that uses analytics to streamline risk scoring  and prioritize the highest risks across the company. Hear about the Rockwell senior embedded firmware engineer prosecuted in federal court after taking a copy of their most critical source code, as well as how they thwarted potential insider cyber sabotage. If you are thinking about starting a program or you are ready to mature an existing one this presentation will provide valuable information to help you plan your next step.
