Technology Workforce Reskilling During and After the Pandemic
April 21, 2020 @ 12:00 pm EDT
This session will look at the impact of the pandemic for tech workers, expected changes in the role of technology in business survivability and examine new areas for reskilling including fast-track options in information technology and cybersecurity learning. The pandemic is changing the tech industry like never done before with some noticeable winners and losers as a result. The situation is escalating new technology implementation, remote work access for all, and an increased focus on technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital transformation, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to name a few. These are part of technological advances that need workforce reskilling to support implementation, maintenance, integration, security, privacy, and reliability. In order to meet these skills requirements, people should be looking at reskilling during the pandemic for the range of online offerings now available.

In an effort to keep our members, the Greater Washington DC region, and the world informed and connected we are holding a series of FREE Cyber workshops for who is interested! We want to give you an outlet as we all adjust to the new norms we are faced with as a result of the escalating health concerns related to the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). As such, we hope you can join us. We have a great lineup of presenters who will cover a variety of interesting topics for which one (1) CPE can be earned for each webinar attended. You will need to self-certify, however, as GWDC will not be sending you a CPE certificate.
