TOPICS

Panel 1: How to Create an Inclusive and Supportive Environment

A vital catalyst for enhancing organizations is improving its diversity and inclusion efforts for underrepresented persons.  It gives organizations greater perspective while remediating systemic challenges.  Although the technology field is considered one of the leaders in aspiring for a more equitable society, challenges persists.  This panel will discuss efforts and ideas to improve workplace diversity and inclusion, while sharing personally experiences of panelists.

Panel 2 Fireside chat with Pranav Desai - Compassionate Capitalism

We all must play our part to make the world an “ACCESSIBLE” and “INCLUSIVE” place where disabled people enjoy equality as human beings with opportunities to excel, contribute fully to society, and live with dignity and independence.  Organizations need to work towards understanding the role that they play in enabling true diversity which includes disabled employees.  Physical access to the workplace is regulated by the government but employers need to remember that providing opportunities to the jobs themselves can make good business sense by leveraging the skills and abilities of a largely untapped population. This panel will allow you to understand how by making simple changes, we can create a better world for everyone.
