AFERM Summer Luncheon 2019 (External Event)

ISACA® Greater Washington, D.C. Chapter is excited to announce its partnership with The Association for Federal Enterprise Risk Management (AFERM) for the AFERM Summer Luncheon to be held 0n August 14, 2019.
The event will feature a panel discussion on ERM and privacy risk management, including how the disciplines and respective functions can work together and learn from one another. The panel will be moderated by Karen Sheely, Technical Advisor for Privacy, Governmental Liaison and Disclosure at the Internal Revenue Service, and will include the following panelists.
- Jonathan Cantor, Chief Privacy Officer, Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
- Edward Killen, Chief Privacy Officer, IRS
Lunch will be provided and will include a salad and a roasted chicken entrée. A vegetarian option will be available as well. One (1) CPE will be awarded for attendance. The CPE will be issued by AFERM, not ISACA GWDC. Questions regarding CPEs should be directed to AFERM.

Jason joined ISACA in 2006 and presently serves as GWDC Past President. He’s served on the Chapter Board of Directors since 2014. Jason is very involved with ISACA Global and some of his volunteering consists of serving on the Chapter Services Working Group, Leadership Development Advisory Council, and contributing significantly to CISA and CISM exam preparation content. Jason has received 40 under 40 Awards from AFCEA International for his contributions to the STEM field and from Leadership Center of Excellence for his leadership in the Washington, D.C. region. Jason is an Associate Partner within IBM’s Cybersecurity and Biometrics Practice. He holds the CISSP-ISSAP, CISA, CISM, and PMP certifications.
