End of year and it is always a rush to finish your Continuing Professional Education (CPE). Attending webinars, looking for events, looking for CPE certificates from previous event, and everything in-between to try and meet the deadline. Outside of planning and recording CPE throughout the year, your local ISACA chapter can help.
Volunteering (20 hours per year)
Volunteering is one of the best ways to earn CPE and there are multiple opportunities throughout the year. On a short-term basis, you can volunteer to help coordinate at an ISACA GWDC event. This can be helping register people, taking pictures, presenting speakers, and many other small tasks. It is not a long term commitment and the chapter is always looking for help.
On a more long-term basis, the ISACA chapter is a volunteer-led organization. We actually have 38 official volunteer positions split between nine committees.
